El patrimonio en los libros de texto de ciencias sociales de 5º de Primaria en Andalucía = Heritage within Andalucía's 5th grade social science text books

Abstract

Trabajo Fin de Máster Oficial en Investigación de la Enseñanza y el Aprendizaje de las Ciencias Experimentales, Sociales y Matemáticas. Tutor: Dr. D. Emilio José Delgado Algarra. El presente Trabajo de Fin de Master trata de dar respuesta a la siguiente pregunta: ¿Cómo se abordan los contenidos que tienen relación tanto directa como indirecta del patrimonio en el libro de 5º de primaria en Andalucía de la editorial SM? Para ello, hemos realizado un marco teórico con varias de las concepciones de algunos de los principales expertos sobre el término patrimonio y sus dimensiones, para posteriormente realizar un análisis cualitativo de la unidad atendiendo, en primer lugar, a los siguientes aspectos: el texto, las imágenes y las actividades y su posible relación con el patrimonio. Y en segundo lugar, analizando los aspectos formales del libro, la metodología empleada y los mensajes tanto implícitos como explícitos que puedan aparecer. Los resultados muestran, al igual que en otros artículos científicos, la necesidad de actualizar los libros respecto al contenido patrimonial.

This End of Master’s Work seeks to answer the following question: How does the 5th grade social science book of Andalucía, published by SM, approach contents that have both direct and indirect relationship with the concept of heritage? To obtain the answer, we have carried out a theoretical framework with several ideas that belong to some of the main experts in the field of heritage and its different dimensions. Afterwards, once we have our theoretical framework, a qualitative analysis will be performed. This analysis will be taking into account, first of all, the following aspects: the text, images and activities and their capability of being related to heritage. Then, the analysis of the formal aspects of the book, the methodology applied and the implicit and explicit messages that may appear. The results show, as in other scientific articles, the need to update books on heritage content.
