Mercado de Certificados Verdes Negociables : su viabilidad en la República Argentina

El cambio climático y sus efectos han llegado para quedarse y frente a esta circunstancia se ha configurado la necesidad de reducir el consumo de energía de fuente fósil y su consecuente reemplazo por aquella de fuente no convencional. Ante esta circunstancia, numerosos estados han desarrollado y aplicado en el transcurso de los últimos años diferentes sistemas de apoyo a las energías renovables que han incidido en el progresivo -pero aún lento- reemplazo del combustible convencional por las energías renovables. En este sentido, se planteará en el presente Trabajo un análisis sobre la viabilidad del Mercado de Certificados Verdes Negociables en la República Argentina teniendo en cuenta, sobre todo, el proceso de diversificación de la matriz energética que ha impulsado este país con el objeto de reducir su dependencia a los combustibles fósiles.

Climate change and its effects are a reality and indeed they will accelerate. Given those circumstances, the international community is working on the reduction of the consumption of fossil fuel energy and its replacement with non-conventional renewable energy. In this context, many states have recently developed different support systems for renewable energies that have influenced in the replacement of conventional fuel with renewable energy. Based on this experience, the possibility to apply the Tradable Green Certificates Market in the Argentine is object of the overview in the present work, and for that purpose, the diversification of the national energy matrix has been taken into account.
