Estudios sobre el tipo de relación parental con animales de compañía en España

Abstract

Esta investigación sobre la relación parental con animales de compañía en España se lleva a cabo para obtener datos que aun no se conocen de forma concreta sobre el tema, y que, además, se han realizado estudios internacionales que han sido efectivos. Por lo tanto, con este trabajo se pretende explorar los factores que contribuyen al desarrollo y la práctica de la identidad de “tutor de animal de compañía con relación parental” entre una muestra representativa de la población de España. Para conseguir el objetivo, se realiza una investigación de estudios internacionales, y se realiza una traducción y contra traducción del principal estudio de la doctora Shelly Volsche. De esta forma, se obtiene el cuestionario que se hace llegar a la muestra diana mediante un muestro de bola de nieve en redes sociales, tales como, Facebook, Instagram, entre otras. Una vez difundido el cuestionario, se comienzan a analizar los resultados en una base de datos a través de herramientas como Qualtrics y Excel, y el sistema SPSS v 29.0. Los resultados que se esperan obtener, en el momento de realizar el estudio, es que sean similares a los del estudio original de Volsche, es decir, resultados positivos y favorables sobre las relaciones entre las personas y los animales de compañía en el territorio de España.

This research on the parental relationship with pets in Spain is carried out to obtain data that is not yet specifically known on the subject, and that, in addition, international studies have been carried out that have been effective. Therefore, this work aims to explore the factors that contribute to the development and practice of the identity of “pet guardian with parental relationship” among a representative sample of the population of Spain. To achieve the objective, an investigation of international studies is carried out, and a translation and countertranslation of the main study by Dr. Shelly Volsche is carried out. In this way, the questionnaire is obtained and sent to the target sample through snowball sampling on social networks, such as Facebook, Instagram, among others. Once the questionnaire is disseminated, the results begin to be analyzed in a database through tools such as Qualtrics and Excel, and the SPSS v 29.0 system. The results that are expected to be obtained, at the time of carrying out the study, are similar to those of Volsche's original study, that is, positive and favorable results on the relationships between people and companion animals in the territory of Spain.
